KATRINA SPARKE

RN/RM/IBCLC

Welcome!

I’m Katrina Sparke, a Registered Nurse/Midwife and International Board Certified Lactation consultant.

I am an endo warrior, blogger, and women’s health advocate.

Due to my personal struggles with severe, stage 4 endometriosis I am passionate about raising awareness for this debilitating disease.

I endured years of infertility and miraculously - after 6 years - had twin boys through IVF.

My breastfeeding journey was also challenging as I struggled to feed premature babies who refused to latch and would constantly scream with pain. Eventually they were diagnosed with tongue ties and Cow’s Milk Protein Allergy and through months of persevering they eventually improved.

Inevitably, my postnatal mental health suffered - and my heart goes out to all the parents who are struggling right now.

I am a strong advocate for women’s health and I will continue to raise awareness and advocate for women who are struggling.

My blog is designed to speak openly about real and raw emotions and to give a voice to those who are currently battling in the depths of survival.

There is no shame - no stigma - in voicing those emotions.

It is not weakness - it is strength.

We “name it to tame it”.

My goal is to help you feel less alone in this journey.

Stay tuned…my postnatal blog posts coming soon!

Long-awaited.

Highly Anticipated.
